San Diego Getaway

We just got home from a little, much needed San Diego getaway!  Friday afternoon we loaded up the kids and hurried to San Diego! It had been a rough couple of weeks for our family, especially Bill after traveling to say good-bye to his best friend in New Mexico. We were ready to get out of town.

Friday evening we spent with Bill's brother, sister and our nephews in Coronado at the hotel we were staying at.  The kids' had fun swimming and we all got to catch up on what we all had been up to. After some dinner, the kids roasted marshmallows, danced and did the limbo! We had a great night spent with family.

Saturday we loaded all the kids up and headed to Imperial beach.  This was Liam's first time at the beach, he loved the sand and hated the cold water.  Rylie loved all of it.  She usually says once a week that she wants to go to the beach.  She even tried to boogy board(on land).  We had a fun filled day at the beach and I have the nice tanned sunburned legs to prove it!  That night we went back to Melissa's(Bill's sister) for a  yummy home cooked dinner.

All in all it was a great, relaxing, much needed family weekend of fun!!!
