With the countdown to Christmas upon us, I find myself a little behind schedule!!! Yes the tree is up and is getting pulled on by Liam's little fingers often. The lights for the house are still sitting in the garage and my wonderful husband says he'll put them up tomorrow; we shall see!! According to my "holiday plan" I was going to mail the annual Christmas cards out on Monday, be done Christmas shopping by Sunday and be done wrapping by the middle of the week. In reality, I just started addressing envelopes for the Christmas cards today and still have a hand full to go. Also, I still have half a list of Christmas shopping to do and I don't even have a quarter of the wrapping paper I need to wrap presents. So as the two week crunch is upon me, it's time to start checking things off my list because ready or not Christmas is coming and I can't wait to see Christmas through my children's eyes!!!
The rest of the week will hold finishing decorating the house, wrapping up the Christmas shopping and getting the food for my first hosted Christmas Eve party for my parents and some friends!!! We will be taking the kids around to look at Christmas lights, making Christmas cookies and attempting to make our first gingerbread house with Rylie being the designer!!! I'm sure it will be a lot of messy fun!!!

The Fitzgerald Kids
Since this is my first post, I am going to update everyone on the kids!!!
~Rylie is 3 1/2 years old and is my little mini me, so everyone says. She is very strong willed and independent with a side of bossy.(Don't know where that comes from) However she is very loving and sweet natured always giving hugs and saying, "I love you." She loves to play pretend, dance and sing. I think she is going to be our little performer! She is always being silly and laughing! She loves being a big sister and is always telling Liam how much she loves him. I hope they are always close. I aways say Rylie is my soccer player in a dress. She is very girly; playing tea party and mommy to her baby dolls and on the other hand she loves to play in the dirt, throws a ball with the best of them, and has amazing coordination when it comes to throwing, catching, and kicking the ball. I love seeing the little person she is becoming and her beautiful personality. The day I delivered her I felt like I had won the world and everyday since!!!
~Liam is 7 1/2 months old and is definatley his father's son. Yep everyone tells me that too. Liam started crawling just after Halloween and he is into everything he can get his hands on. Liam is not as independent as Rylie, he likes to be the one to be entertained and for the attention to be on him. He has figured out how to yell in this high pitched scream to get our attention. I think it's a second child thing, fighting for his voice to be heard. However, he has the cutest smile and laugh that will probably get him out of trouble in the future I'm sure, at least with mommy anyways. He gives the best baby hugs and kisses and always has that sly grin on his face, especially when he is doing something he shouldn't. He loves to play ball and pull himself up on whatever he can before mommy catches him. He is already trying to stand up holding onto things and we guess he might be an early walker(trying to catch his crazy sister). Liam melts my heart everyday and I love watching him change and grow everyday.
So there was a little update on Rylie and Liam. As I'm sure you could tell, I'm one proud mommy. I thank God everyday for my beautiful and healthy children!!!
