WARNING: IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE BELLY PICTURES, YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO KEEP READING!!!
Yesterday marked 25 weeks pregnant and growing. The baby is about 13 1/2 inches in length and weighs about a pound and a half. We are getting more excited for the arrival of our baby boy. Time is flying by and we are getting closer to delivery day!! I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and I was informed I am "large for dates", which basically means my belly is measuring larger than it should for how far along I am. A polite way of telling me I'm a little too big at this point!! So because I am measuring three weeks larger than I should, my doctor wants to get another ultrasound at 28 weeks to double check the size of the baby, if I have too much amniotic fluid, and to see if my belly is just big or if the baby is getting too big. Go figure that they say I'm too big, when up until now they said they baby was small for gestational age. I'm not too worried about it, they told me Liam was going to be too big, and he actually came out smaller than expected. I think as long as this baby doesn't weigh more than Rylie did(almost 9 pounds), I'll be able to get him out just fine. We'll know more at the end of the month, but I'm excited to see our little one on ultrasound again!
Through reading another blog that I follow, I found some cute "belly tickers" that tell how many weeks pregnant you are. Even though I'm half way done with the pregnancy, I still thought it was a cute idea to remember my LAST baby belly. I have belly tickers marking the different milestones for the rest of the pregnancy and one ticker for each week after 37 weeks.
Here's capturing my expanding waistline:

Our growing baby!!
Next week I go back to the doctor for the glucose screening test. I'm not looking forward to having to drink this sugar syrup that tastes like flat orange crush, makes you feel like you're on crack, while waiting an hour to have my blood drawn. I guess I can think, "It's the last time I'll have to ....." when it comes to the unpleasant parts of pregnancy since this will be my LAST pregnancy!
We are anxious for our ultrasound on the 20th, and to think that by my next doctor's appointment, I will be starting my third trimester!!! I can't wait to see our baby boy, hold him, and meet our third child that is completing our family!!!!
